IM Back!!!

Hey guys!

I realized that I haven't been posting anything lately and frankly I am ashamed.
I have been caught up with making arrangements to start my fall semester in new york, at the Fashion Institute, I am officially a FIT student and its truly a dream come true.
High school was  somewhat amazing, in so many ways, I will miss lunch with the girls, our occasional laugh fest. but what I certainly will not miss AP statistics. The long nights on homework,   having to hide my Vogue magazine  in my anatomy textbook, hiding my top shop web page when the teacher walks by . I couldn't be more ready for college.
I have been ready for quite some time now. and now the wait is over.
I cannot wait to begin my life in the city , and make the best of everything. although I am frighten out of my pumps I am so very thrill.
I will do my best to keep you guys updated and tell you all about my adventure in the city.
wish me luck.......
Until then, be your fashionable self.......Au Revoir :)

Fashion is everywhere so live it ,breath it and express it.

SPring/SUmmer Delights

It’s that time of year again, when the weather gets hot and the flowers bloom. Its time to celebrate the beauty of nature by updating your wardrobe. There are so many great trends this season you are sure to find one that suits your style and shape. It’s the season to experiment with colors, fabrics and outrageous trends, with these seasons wide range of trend that sure won’t disappoint…….I promise 

So here are the five Spring/Summer hottest trends that is sure to take you from flab to fab…from trashy to classy …ahahhaha jk

1) DENIM

The must have this spring/summer. You can add this trend to your wardrobe with a jacket, a dress and a shirt. Which is my new favorite thing, I love the denim shirts 

A shocking fact for me is that head to toe denim is a do. …..I don’t think ill ever be okay with that ….the DENIM TUXEDO will always remain a fashion DON’T for me. But if you want to go for that look ….thumbs up to you. After all fashion is all about experimenting and stepping outside the box.

2) FLORAL PRINTS

This is by far my favorite trend this season. It makes a bold and daring statement, most of all its Chic and Feminine. Flowers are everywhere this spring why not add a splash of them to your closet. Florals give off an inviting, warm and sophisticated vibe to the opposite sex. Studies have shown that Men love a woman in flowers; it’s a very feminine silhouette. Invest in some floral prints and you might just land a guy 

3) UNDERWEAR AS OUTERWEAR

I have been eating bowls of courage to try this ……and I promise before June I should be styling in my underwear LOL

Frankly I am taken by this trend, I think it’s out there and different …..IT’S FASHION

A corset, lace, sheer is sure to do the trick when adding this trend to your wardrobe.

Keep in mind that it’s easy to have a fashion don’t on your hands… so you don’t want to leave your house looking trashy and messy.

So choose the place and event carefully when you do experiment 

4) PASTEL

Its sophisticated, feminine and warm .this amazing trend can take you fro m day to evening.

Cream, peach, beige, cognac and soft pinks are the IT colors for this spring. The colors work well with Florals and ruffles …..a match made in fashion heaven.

5) SPARKLES

Shine this summer with modern Metallics and sequins. “Glitter does a girl good” - VOGUE

SO this great and amazing trendsetting season add a little dazzle to your closet.

With a great sequin or metallic item NOTHING should keep from looking fabulous and been the “IT GIRL” at any event.

Here are some great accessories, hair styles and makeup looks that are sure to keep you looking OOOOh soooo FaBuLoUs at all times. I hope this helps make your spring/summer stylist as ever.

Remember with everything you wear confidence is key …AU REVOIR!!!!

Alexander McQueen :Tribute to a genius

How do i begin to summarize this man's life.
I can't find the words to describe the genius of this man. He opened our eyes to so much. But after this grave tragedy we must say goodbye to this man.

"Every inspired, original, lofty, whimsical, stunning, brilliant and jaw dropping detail was Alexander McQueen, there has never been anyone like him and there simply will never be "said Sarah Jessica Parker.
Upon hearing of his passing Sarah J a very close friend to McQueen said "I was overcome with grief".

Anna Wintour released a statement saying "We are devastated to learn of the death of Alexander McQueen, one of the greatest talents of his generation. He brought a uniquely British sense of daring and aesthetic fearlessness to the global stage of fashion. In such a short career, Alexander McQueen’s influence was astonishing — from street style, to music culture and the world’s museums. His passing marks an insurmountable loss."

"Really, what I'm aiming for is world domination" McQueen said when asked for his plans for his spring/summer 2010 collection which was debuting at Paris fashion week on October 6
McQueen had a vision and he planned to shared with the world.
This has truly been a great lost for the fashion industry.Rest in peace
